Health Plan of Nevada, a UnitedHealthcare subsidiary, secured a four-year contract with the State of Nevada as a managed care organization delivering state Medicaid plans.
Health Plan of Nevada will begin offering Medicaid plans to Clark and Washoe counties effective Jan. 1, 2022, according to the Aug. 24 announcement.
Health Plan of Nevada now taps into a population of 600,000 residents who meet the state's Medicaid requirements.
