Long Beach, Calif.-based SCAN Health Plan is bringing new health plans to Nevada and Arizona, the Medicare Advantage insurer announced Sept. 9.
SCAN Health Plan will also expand to two counties in its home state of California, with a total reach of over 5 million potential customers across its markets, according to the announcement.

The move is the first time the insurer has expanded outside of California and into two new states.
The expansion is paired with outreach, as SCAN intends to connect with potential customers in five languages to ensure accessibility.
