Hillcrest HealthCare System, BCBS reach multiyear contract

Tulsa, Okla.-based Hillcrest HealthCare System and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma negotiated a multiyear agreement allowing BCBSOK members to access Hillcrest facilities and providers at in-network prices, The Claremore Daily Progress reports.

The in-network agreement pertains to Hillcrest HealthCare System facilities throughout northeastern Oklahoma.

Kevin Gross, CEO of Hillcrest HealthCare System, told the publication, "We are pleased that our patients with Blue Cross and Blue Shield coverage will continue to have in-network access to our hospitals. We have partnered with BCBSOK for many years and work closely together to coordinate healthcare and provide access to our thousands of mutual patients across northeastern Oklahoma."
