Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and Missouri-based Mercy have entered a collaborative value-based care agreement, the insurer and health system said July 6.
Effective July 1, the new model will replace the traditional fee-for-service one.
MyHealth Access Network will allow the organizations to digitally collaborate with other professionals across Oklahoma as the agreement is implemented.
Mercy runs 10 acute care hospitals and 100 clinics in Oklahoma, where Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma is the largest, customer-owned insurer.
