5. Rural Oklahoma hospital to go out-of-network with BCBS over proposed 30% reimbursement cut
Stigler, Okla.-based Haskell County Community Hospital said it will have to stop accepting Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma policies as in-network if the insurer goes through with proposed rate cuts.
6. UnitedHealth to add 500 jobs in Kansas, with 150 heading to OptumRx
Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealth Group will hire 500 employees in Kansas.
7. Boulder Medical Center, Humana roll out value-based payment model
Boulder (Colo.) Medical Center and Humana launched a value-based healthcare delivery model for Humana Medicare Advantage policyholders in Colorado.
