FedEx driver transports 3 shooting victims to Grady Hospital

A FedEx driver transported three patients to Atlanta-based Grady Hospital after a July 15 shooting, reports CNN.

After the shooting occurred, three victims flagged down a passing FedEx truck, and the driver agreed to take them to the hospital, according to TaSheena Brown, a senior officer with the Atlanta Police Department. A fourth victim went to the hospital in a private vehicle.

"FedEx Ground commends the quick action taken by this service provider employee and is proud of the many contributions that our team members and vendors make to our communities every day," FedEx spokesperson Meredith Miller told CNN.

Police said the victims may have been involved in a drug transaction before the shooting. All four individuals are alert and receiving medical care, according to Ms. Brown.
