The San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has identified the body of the 33-year-old woman found dead in a hallway at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital June 4, the San Francisco Examiner reports.

The medical examiner's office identified the individual as Laverne Criner, who was reportedly a patient at the hospital at the time of her death and was being held on 72-hour psychiatric hold.

The medical examiner reportedly completed an autopsy on Ms. Criner's body last week and ruled out homicide as the cause of death based on preliminary findings. Ms. Criner's cause of death is pending additional studies, though officials with the California Department of Public Health expect to complete a report within the coming weeks.

Ms. Criner was the second individual found dead at the hospital within five days. Ruby Anderson, 75, was found dead in the stairwell of a locked power plant building on hospital grounds May 31.

Ms. Anderson was not a patient at the hospital at the time of her death. However, she was reported missing from the hospital May 20, according to the report. The medical examiner's office also ruled out homicide as the cause of death in Ms. Anderson's case.

The CDOPH, the California Department of Social Services' Community Care Licensing Division, and the city's health and police departments are all conducting separate investigations, the San Francisco Examiner reports.
