LHC Group’s latest quality and patient satisfaction scores again outperform national averages

A recent press release by LHC Group announces their recent quality and patient satisfaction ratings that continue to lead the home health industry.

LHC Group, Inc.’s most recent quality and patient satisfaction ratings continue to lead the home health industry and outperform national averages – according to the latest Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Five-Star Quality Rating System results released in January 2019.

The CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System results are released quarterly and rank providers in two categories: “Quality of Patient Care” and “Patient Satisfaction.” The system was instituted by CMS as part of its Home Health Compare website to provide a tool for consumers to use when choosing a home health care provider.

In evaluating the latest scores, Jefferies Group LLC – a New York-based global investment bank and institutional securities firm that provides financial advisory services – stated that publicly traded providers like LHC Group “continue to deliver industry-leading quality metrics,” and that “Stars ratings performance should drive market share gains and lengthen growth runway.” Click here to continue>>
