University of California San Diego Health is the state's first healthcare system to deploy Medtronic's Mazor X Stealth Edition System.

UC San Diego adopted the system, which received FDA approval in late 2018, to facilitate precision in restorative spine surgeries.

The Mazor X Stealth Edition System's 3D surgical planning, robotic guidance and intraoperative navigation capabilities could help reduce procedure times, incision sizes, blood loss and anesthesia utilization.
