Hudson Regional Hospital launches orthopedic institute to keep patients local — 3 highlights


Secaucus, N.J.-based Hudson Regional Hospital launched The Institute for Robotic Surgery to prevent patients from trekking to New York for orthopedic surgical care, Patch reports.

Three highlights:

1. The Institute for Robotic Surgery was established as part of Hudson Regional Hospital's major renovation project.

2. Surgical teams at the new institute specialize in using ExcelsiusGPS, da Vinci XI and the Mazor Robotic Guidance System.

3. The institute offers orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urologic and general surgery, as well as hernia repair and bariatric surgery.
