Optum’s Centers of Excellence networks recognize providers that are clinically superior and offer cost-effective care for cancer, bariatric surgery, congenital heart disease, infertility, and transplants.

The company conducts an annual evaluation process alongside a national panel of industry experts to assess providers across the country, which offers patients a wide range of benefits, including more accurate diagnoses, higher survival rates, and lower out-of-pocket costs. More than 3,000 payer groups covering more than 62 million lives use Optum’s services. Additional evaluation information is here.
