Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine has broken ground on a $270 million outpatient facility in the suburb of North Wales, Pa.
The facility, named Penn Medicine Montgomeryville, will offer comprehensive cancer care provided by the system’s Abramson Cancer Center, according to an April 11 news release from the health system.
Physicians and care teams at the facility will coordinate appointments across specialties during one visit. Additional services within the facility will include primary care, heart and vascular, orthopaedic and neuroscience, women’s health, surgical consultations, imaging, laboratory services, infusion therapy and a retail pharmacy, the release said.
The facility is expected to open in late 2027.
