Geisinger to build $32M cancer center

Danville, Pa.- based Geisinger will build a new, $32 million cancer center in Lewisburg, Pa.

The cancer center is expected to open in 2026 alongside outpatient and palliative care clinics, according to a March 10 news release from the health system.

The new facilities will expand on the health system’s offerings and will be located near the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville to facilitate “seamless transition of care” when necessary, the release said.
