The donation was made by 24 Foundation, a Charlotte-based nonprofit organization, according to a Jan. 27 news release from Atrium.

The gift will expand Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute’s integrative oncology program with the addition of a full-time dietitian, as well as enhance existing services such as the resource center, psycho-oncology and exercise physiology programs.

The survivorship team at Atrium Health Levine Children’s will launch a prehabilitation program for pediatric and young adult patients with funds from the gift and maintain existing services such as mental health care and a healthy snack cart, the release said.
