Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth will invest $43.2 million to establish AdventHealth Cancer Institute at Winter Garden (Fla.).
The new facility will offer radiation, medical oncology and immunotherapy services, as well as “personalized and targeted treatments tailored to each patient’s genetic profile,” according to an April 15 news release from the health system.
AdventHealth Cancer Institute at Winter Garden will also be home to the Eden Spa and Boutique, which offers customized fittings for wigs, mastectomy bras and compression stockings.
Rajesh Sehgal, MD, director of oncology at AdventHealth Cancer Institute Winter Park (Fla.), which is also home to an Eden Spa and Boutique, told Becker’s the spa’s services lean into AdventHealth’s “whole-person care” model by helping patients with their mental and emotional needs.
Construction on the AdventHealth Cancer Institute at Winter Garden facility is expected to be completed in the summer of 2026, the release said.
