The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing has identified three health systems as the recipients of its National Certification Champion Awards, the organization said Sept. 13.
The awards recognize nursing excellence in emergency departments, trauma centers, transport programs and health systems nationwide. BECN selected one winning health system for three different award categories.
The 2022 winners are:
- Small healthcare organization: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center–Centennial Emergency Department (Frisco, Texas)
- Large healthcare organization: Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital Emergency Center in (Houston)
- Health system: Centura Health (Centennial, Colo.)
