Spok Directions user group grows to 300

Spok Directions, a group of Spok customers who provide feedback on products and industry trends, now has more than 300 members.

"Not only does Spok Directions give our customers the opportunity to network and share their experiences and priorities, but we can also use that information when planning our product roadmap to develop products that support customer needs effectively," said Brian Edds, Spok's vice president of product strategy, in a news release. "For example, through the group's feedback we've made changes to our secure texting app to create a more user friendly interface and have developed extensive training videos."

Earlier this month, USA Mobility consolidated Amcom Software and USA Mobility Wireless into one entity, named Spok. Pronounced like "spoke," the company provides critical communication solutions for the workflow, including secure texting, paging services and call center optimization.
