Public Democratic Support of Healthcare Reform Drops

Overall public perception of President Obama's healthcare reform law has waned, largely due to a decline in Democrats' support of the law, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation report.

According to a KFF poll, the public's opinion on the healthcare reform law dipped to a new low, as 51 percent of the public had a negative view of the law and 34 percent had a favorable view. Although Democrats are still more supportive of the law than independents or Republicans, Democratic support of the law dropped sharply from nearly 67 percent in September to 52 percent in October.
