AtlantiCare in New Jersey to Build $20.6M Facility With ED, Imaging

The board of 267-bed AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has approved plans to build a $20.6 million medical facility in Hammonton, N.J., with an 11-bay ED and an imaging center, according to a report by Shore News Today.


The facility will take over services from an existing AtlantiCare facility at the former William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.

Groundbreaking is slated for mid-2010 and the new facility would open on Jan. 1, 2011.
