Woman charged for allegedly threatening to kill Washington hospital worker: 5 things to know

A woman faces a felony harassment charge after allegedly threatening to kill a housekeeper in an attempt to enter Trios Southridge Hospital in Kennewick, Wash., according to a Tri-City Herald report.

Here are five things to know.

1. Cristi C. Chambers-Dozer, a 47-year-old resident of Richland, Wash., had a knife with her when she allegedly confronted the housekeeper around 11:30 p.m. April 14, according to the report, which cites court documents. Documents show the incident occurred as the employee was trying to move a dog blocking a badge-protected employee exit so she could leave work.

2. Documents cited in the report allege Ms. Chambers-Dozer "aggressively" yelled at the housekeeper from her van, then approached the employee on foot and threatened to kill the woman unless she let her inside the hospital.

3. Documents show the housekeeper did not let Ms. Chambers-Dozer inside the door and was able to safely notify security and law enforcement. Police arrested Ms. Chambers-Dozer after she went around the facility into the lobby and later found the knife in her van. According to the report, Ms. Chambers-Dozer's reasoning for wanting to get inside the Trios Southridge employee exit remains unclear.

4. Ms. Chambers-Dozer has a scheduled court appearance April 19, with bail set at $10,000.

5. Ms. Chambers-Dozer also has a felony harassment charge stemming from a March incident at a credit union in Pasco, Wash. Read more about that case in the full report.
