Woman arrested after posing as employee at 2 Tennessee hospitals: 4 things to know

A 33-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly dressed as a hospital employee to gain access to restricted areas inside two Tennessee hospitals.

Here are four things to know.

1. Crystal Hughley, a former employee of CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn., allegedly gained access to Memorial Hospital's break room on Feb. 25 by dressing as a hospital employee and wearing a name badge with her name on it. She was let in to the break room after telling another employee her access code wasn't working, according to the Times Free Press.

2. Once inside the break room, Ms. Hughley allegedly stole credit cards from two employees and then made several purchases using the cards, according to WTVC.

3. On Feb. 27, Ms. Hughley allegedly gained access to the break room at Memorial North Park Hospital in Chattanooga, stole a credit card and then used it to buy a PlayStation at Walmart, according to the Times Free Press.

4. Ms. Hughley is charged with burglary, theft of property and fraudulent use of a credit card, according to WTVC.
