Petition by 5 states aims to stop end of ACA's birth control mandate

President Donald Trump's administration is facing pushback from five states regarding its decision to end the ACA's birth control mandate, according to The Hill.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced Thursday he filed a petition for a nationwide injunction to halt the rollback.

The filing comes the week after the attorneys general of Delaware, Maryland, New York and Virginia joined the lawsuit Mr. Becerra filed in October in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, challenging the current administration's decision, Mr. Becerra said via news release.
