Police said foul play is suspected in the death of a physician who was found dead last week in his Beachwood, Ohio, home, according to Cleveland.com.
Here are five things to know:
1. Richard Warn, DPM, was found dead in his home Aug. 9. He died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
2. Dr. Warn's body was discovered after his wife called 911. On the call, she can be heard saying she thinks her husband is in their home, but she is unable to get inside. "I just got back home from vacation with my family and I didn't have a key to come in the house," she tells the dispatcher. "I was knocking on the door trying to get in."
3. Police said foul play is suspected, and there were no signs that someone had broken into the home where Dr. Warn's body was found.
4. On the evening of Aug. 10, police officers went to a second home that belonged to Dr. Warn in South Euclid, Ohio, to execute a search warrant. As officers approached the home, someone began shooting at them. After a 12-hour standoff, officers deployed a gas agent and entered the home. Two male suspects were found dead inside the home, according to the Cleveland Heights Patch.
5. Police said the two men were persons of interest in Dr. Warn's death. Their identities have not been released, according to News 5 Cleveland.
