1. Lawsuit aims to toss Arkansas' Medicaid work requirements
The National Health Law Program, Legal Aid of Arkansas and the Southern Poverty Law Center filed a lawsuit Aug. 14 to stop the implementation of Medicaid work requirements in Arkansas.

2. Illinois physician claims imitator wrecked his career
Jay Joshi, MD, an Illinois physician specializing in pain treatment, sued another physician with the same name in federal court, claiming the other physician's criminal case has destroyed his career. 

3. Massive billing scheme spread to 10-hospital group, lawsuit alleges
A $90 million billing fraud scheme highlighted in a state audit of a 15-bed Missouri hospital spread to as many as 10 other hospitals, according to a federal complaint.
