A Florida neurologist agreed to pay the federal government $150,000 to settle allegations that he violated the False Claims Act by providing medically unnecessary services to federal healthcare program beneficiaries.

2. Judge extends restraining order in Ebola nurse Nina Pham's case
A Texas district judge extended a restraining order preventing Arlington-based Texas Health Resources or its insurance company from pursing a worker's compensation claim for nurse Nina Pham, who was infected with Ebola while caring for the first U.S. patient with the deadly disease.
