Medtech company Gradian Health Systems is partnering with manufacturing company Canon Virginia to help curb global inequities in healthcare.
As part of the partnership, Canon Virginia will manufacture Gradian’s flagship product, the UAM, an anesthesia machine that can work without electricity. Canon Virginia will also assume manufacturing responsibility for Gradian’s K-O2 device designed to fight oxygen insecurity in health systems, according to a Sept. 7 news release from Gradian.
Canon Virginia will fully produce both products by the end of 2022, the release said.
