DexCare names new chief technology officer

DexCare, a healthcare data platform incubated at Renton, Wash.-based Providence, has named Rick Pittenger as its new chief technology officer.

In his new role, Mr. Pittenger will lead DexCare's application, infrastructure and engineering teams. Previously, Mr. Pittenger was chief technology officer at digital insights company Cint, according to a Nov. 8 DexCare news release.

"With their recent acquisition of preeminent e-Commerce and online merchandising technology company, Womp, it's clear that they have an innovative, somewhat novel vision for bringing a new type of healthcare access experiences into the hands of consumers," Mr. Pittenger said. "I'm eager to apply my knowledge in consumer and digital growth marketing in this new role and work alongside a group that isn't just ahead of the curve in this industry but leading it."
