4 healthcare organizations adding jobs

The following healthcare organizations shared plans to add jobs so far in June, starting with the most recent.

1. Urgent care facility in New York state expected to create 15 jobs
Five Star Urgent Care plans to build a facility in Dunkirk, N.Y., which is expected to create about 15 jobs.

2. Lexington Medical Center seeks to fill various healthcare positions
Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C., seeks to fill nursing, allied health and professional support services positions through a employment fair later this month.

3. Highmark, Allegheny Health to invest $200M in cancer facility, network
Highmark Health and Allegheny Health, both based in Pittsburgh, will invest $200 million into cancer care initiatives in collaboration with Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine. The $200 million will go toward a new cancer institute at Pittsburgh-based Allegheny General Hospital, a move that is expected to generate 175 jobs.

4. Hancock Regional seeks to fill 27 positions
Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Ind., revealed plans to hire 27 workers.
