Becker's Hospital Review has reported the following hospital-union events — including protests and contract agreements — since Feb. 8.

1. Johns Hopkins Hospital retaliated against 2 unionizing nurses, lawsuit says
The National Nurses United is accusing Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Hospital of retaliating against two nurses involved in a unionization effort.

2. Iowa City hospital workers union says buses to distant parking lots weren't provided during snowstorm
Cold weather intensified negotiations between Iowa City-based University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and unionized employees.

3. Unionized Cleveland Clinic workers speak out after learning minimum wage increase doesn't apply to them
Cleveland Clinic is facing pushback from unionized employees over a minimum wage increase that excludes them.

4. NYC nurses show up to protest; counts differ
Unionized nurses from 13 New York City facilities participated in a day of protest Feb. 13, prompted by complaints of poor working conditions and inadequate staffing by nurses at three New York health systems.

5. California hospital wins order from court telling strikers to quiet down
Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif., won a legal request to limit noise and disturbance they say is caused by striking workers.

6. Pennsylvania hospital service workers OK labor deal with raises
