Tennova Healthcare, based in Knoxville, Tenn., plans to lay off 75 employees in October, according to a WBIR-Knoxville report.

Affected employees work in one of the system's regional service centers in the Physicians Regional Hospital in Knoxville. Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates owns Tennova, and is consolidating the Knoxville regional service center into a center in Arkansas, according to the report.

HMA will allow affected employees to relocate to any service center in Arkansas, Florida, North Carolina or Mississippi. Additionally, affected employees can receive help to apply to open positions within Tennova Healthcare.
