St. Vincent Health, Community Health Network & Six Hospitals to Form ACC in Joint Venture

Community Health Network and St. Vincent Health, both based in Indianapolis, are forming an alliance with six hospitals in the Suburban Health Organization to launch an accountable care consortium focusing on innovative healthcare solutions for employers and commercial markets.

Suburban Health Organization is a partnership of Central Indiana hospitals that work together to promote quality, efficiency and patient access. The suburban Indiana hospitals that have joined the ACC include: Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield; Hendricks Regional Health in Danville; Henry County Hospital in New Castle; Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin; Riverview Hospital in Noblesville; and Witham Health Services in Lebanon.

Under the joint venture, each organization will remain separate entities but work collaboratively toward the yet-unnamed ACC. Each organization will have equal ownership. According to the release, the ACC partners will bring together more than 30 hospitals throughout central Indiana. In addition, each partner has committed to utilizing its respective IT infrastructures for collecting clinical data, while working together to allow the sharing of information between providers.
