Prime Healthcare Services Acquires Dallas Medical Center

Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services has purchased Dallas Medical Center, according to a Herald Online report.

Dallas Medical Center is a 155-bed full service, acute-care hospital with 200 physicians and 250 full-time employees. According to Prime Healthcare Services' President and CEO Prem Reddy, MD, acquiring Dallas Medical Center is in line with Prime Healthcare's motto of saving hospitals, saving jobs and saving lives. Dallas Medical Center is the third hospital Prime Healthcare has acquired in Texas.

"As one of the top health systems in the nation, Prime Healthcare looks forward to improving the already excellent care at the Center, ensuring its financial future, and continuing the strong relationships with the local physicians and community," said Dr. Reddy in the report.
