Perry County (Ind.) Memorial Hospital has signed an affiliation agreement with Indianapolis-based St. Vincent, replacing the hospital's former agreement with Alliant Management Services, according to 14 News, a local NBC affiliate.
The agreement, which will take three to five months to finalize, will allow Perry County Memorial to expand services and give organizational support to clinical staff while remaining independently operated.
"We are so excited to embark on this partnership with such a trusted health care system that will strengthen our ability to expand and offer specialized services that may not currently be available in our area," said Brian Herwig, CEO of Perry County Memorial. "St. Vincent has played a crucial role in fostering relationships that have enabled us to expand service lines, and this affiliation will ensure that we are serving our community with a full spectrum of care."
