District One Hospital Board of Faribault, Minn., introduced a proposed affiliation agreement with Allina Hospital, headquartered in Minneapolis, on Wednesday, according to an article in the Faribault Daily News.
The proposed agreement includes an investment of $28.9 million, expanded services and an unknown future for Johnston Hall, home to medical specialists associated with District One, and District One Hospital employees.
According to the article, the final vote on the affiliation will take place June 24.
