U.S. News names 11 best children's hospitals

U.S. News & World Report recently released its list of Best Children's Hospitals for 2015-16, based on a survey conducted by RTI International.

184 hospitals were analyzed based on 10 specialties including cancer and urology. To qualify for the Honor Roll, a hospital had to receive high rankings in three or more specialties. These Honor Roll hospitals are listed below in order from highest ranking to lowest ranking.

1. Boston Children's Hospital

2. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

3. Cincinnati Children's HospitalMedicalCenter

4. Texas Children's Hospital (Houston)

5. Children's Hospital Colorado (Aurora)

6. Seattle Children's Hospital

7. Children's Hospital Los Angeles

8. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC

9. Nationwide Children's Hospital (Columbus, Ohio)

10. Children's NationalMedicalCenter (Washington, D.C.)

11. Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital (Chicago)*

11. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta*

*Tie for 11th place.
