A University of Memphis (Tenn.) Loewenberg College of Nursing assistant professor came under fire for comments she made about White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, according to the Commercial Appeal.

Judy Cole, MSN, RN, reportedly tweeted Nov. 11 Ms. Sanders would not be missed if she froze to death, according to the report. Ms. Cole's Twitter account has since been deleted.

Former Arkansas Republican Governor Mike Huckabee, who is also Ms. Sanders' father, tweeted a response to Ms. Cole Nov. 11, stating, "... I feel sorry for someone so hateful and vicious. Poor woman makes Nurse Ratched look like Mother Teresa!"

"The university of Memphis has been made aware of personal comments made on social media by a current faculty member of the Loewenberg College of Nursing. These statements do not represent the values of the University of Memphis or the values of the Lowenberg College of Nursing. This matter is being fully investigated in accordance with U of M policies," the university said in a statement Monday.

Ms. Cole did not return the Commercial Appeal's request for comment.
