Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic will acquire Cardiology Associates of Virginia, according to a Roanoke Times report.
The four physicians in the group will be employed by the health system. Carilion and the group previously explored a merger in 2007, but its physicians decided at that time to remain independent.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
