Trump blames Democrats for AHCA stall

President Donald Trump called out Senate Democrats at a speech in Cincinnati Wednesday and blamed them for the Senate's delays in passing the AHCA, according to The Hill.

Mr. Trump and his administration have been pushing the Senate to quickly pass the bill, though disagreements within the GOP have presented many roadblocks. Republicans only need a simple majority of 51 votes, but they have had many diverging opinions on what to do about ACA Medicaid and tax regulations.

Ohio, where Mr. Trump was speaking, has been hit particularly hard by a lack of possible insurance coverage. Anthem Health, one of the state's largest providers, recently left the ACA marketplace, leaving 20 counties in the state without any insurers on the market.
