Seattle hospital launches consulting arm to aid rural hospitals

Seattle-based Virginia Mason Medical Center created a consulting arm to help rural hospitals address challenges and aid those facilities in the recruitment of C-suite executives, Virginia Mason announced April 23.

The consultancy, dubbed NetworxHealth, will aid hospital officials during transitions among C-suite executives. The organization will also provide management expertise in pharmacy operations, continuing medical education and supply chain efficiency, among other operations.

The consultancy comprises healthcare professionals currently practicing or who have recently retired, with some having previously been affiliated with Virginia Mason.
