Obama: Women make better leaders than men

Leo Vartorella -

Former President Barack Obama said women may be better fit for leadership positions than men, according to CNBC.

"Not to generalize but women seem to have a better capacity than men do, partly because of their socialization," Mr. Obama said during a Saturday event in Paris organized by Les Napoleons, a network of communications professionals.

Mr. Obama also said a good leader asks questions such as "How can I make the people around me better?" and "How do I build a team where everyone is pulling together to get something done?"

Mr. Obama's thoughts on female leadership come as a recent Gallup poll showed a majority of American's don't have any gender preference for their boss, marking the first opinion shift in the country since the poll began in 1963.
