Noventis to help restore park damaged in Hurricane Harvey

Noventis, a Houston-based electronic payment service provider, is doing its part to help with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The company will help restore hurricane-damaged Buffalo Bayou Park, which is an urban green space spanning 160 acres, during its annual "Aware Day" Thursday. Additionally, the Noventis office in Portland, Ore., will work through Soldier's Angels to provide supplies for veterans affected by Hurricane Harvey, according to the company.

"Because there are so many worthy organizations in need of help, it was difficult to decide with whom to partner on our annual day of charity efforts," said Noventis CEO Steve Taylor. "The final decision to help restore Buffalo Bayou Park was due to the fact that this park is something everyone in Houston has in common. Some of the most impressive views of our city skyline can be seen here and it serves as a major artery by connecting us from far west to east Houston."

Noventis also plans to present a check to the Buffalo Bayou Partnership Thursday.
