Rep. David Norcross, D-NJ, announced Thursday a $2.4 million HHS grant for CAMCare health that will help fund healthcare centers in underserved communities in southern New Jersey.
In 2016, 36,400 patients attended CAMCare facilities in Camden and Gloucester counties, totaling over 130,000 visits. The facilities provide services ranging from pediatrics to behavioral health and dental care.
"Investments like these not only improve the well-being of our neighbors and friends," Norcross said, "they also support jobs for hard-working healthcare professionals who devote their time to helping others."
