Mendocino Coast Hospital in California Cuts 20 Jobs

Mendocino Coast District Hospital in Fort Bragg, Calif., has eliminated 20 positions from its workforce, according to a Fort Bragg Advocate-News report.

Wayne Allen, CEO and CFO of the hospital, said the 20 positions represent roughly 7.5 percent of the hospital's 270 full-time positions, according to the report. Eleven hospital departments will be affected by the workforce reduction.

The cuts will result in an annual saving of roughly $1.5 million in wages and benefits, according to the report.
