Kenneth Ingraham, spokesperson for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, dies at 47

Kenneth Ingraham, a former journalist and spokesperson for Winston Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, died Thursday at the age of 47, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

Mr. Ingraham died from complications after a surgery to treat his cancer. Mr. Ingraham was a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and worked as a reporter for WECT in Wilmington, N.C. and WFMY in Greensboro, N.C. before joining the hospital.

"He's a great guy who will be greatly missed by many people. He touched so many lives that I don't think he even realized," Chad Campbell, a friend of Mr. Ingraham, told the Winston-Salem Journal. "He was an amazing person who loved his family dearly. He was very positive, a leader and someone who inspired everyone he met."
