Oklahoma City, Okla.-based Integris has cut 171 jobs, or about 1.6 percent of the health system's workforce, according to The Oklahoman.

The health system said it will try to match employees who were laid off to open positions within the Integris system. Integris is affiliated with seven hospitals in Oklahoma and owns or operates 24 healthcare campuses, according to The Oklahoman.

"Integris is committed to getting in front of the challenging market dynamics to ensure Integris stays well positioned for the future," the health system said in a statement to The Oklahoman. "At the beginning of our fiscal year, we determined several adjustments were necessary. As of today, we are eliminating 171 positions — most of which are corporate, non-clinical positions."
