Campbellton-Graceville Hospital braces for closure

Kelly Gooch -

Campbellton-Graceville (Fla.) Hospital is preparing to suspend all hospital services effective April 20 due to "immediate financial difficulties."

Until then, the hospital will continue to provide all necessary medical services in the ER, outpatient and inpatient areas, according to the hospital's announcement. The hospital said Daniel Fulmer, MD, and Nurse Practitioner Ashley Wester will continue to see patients in the clinic located in front of the hospital "as plans are developed to meet the medical needs of the community into the future without a hospital."

The hospital, which has been around for more than 50 years, has about 90 employees.
