Just Capital and Forbes selected nine healthcare companies for its first Just 100 List, which honors companies excelling in areas like worker treatment, U.S. job creation and environmental effect.
Just Capital — a research organization — surveyed more than 50,000 Americans to curate what respondents deemed the most important corporate traits. The survey results were used to create 36 components affecting 10 different drivers of company behavior. Then, about 900 companies were evaluated and ranked on those components to derive an overall score for the company's industry.
Below are the nine healthcare companies recognized on the list, organized by industry.
