Gavin Carmichael Steps Down as CEO of East Morgan County Hospital in Colorado

Gavin Carmichael will leave his role as CEO of East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colo., to become CEO of Providence Physician Services Organization in Anchorage, Alaska, effective July 8, according to a hospital news release.

Linda Thorpe, who currently serves as the CFO at EMCH, will serve as interim CEO, effective Monday, July 12. Prior to his arrival at EMCH, Carmichael served as CEO of Banner's Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyo., and as associate administrator at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix.
