Pleasanton, Calif.-based Valleycare Health System has announced that the Regional Cancer Center at Valleycare in Pleasanton will join with UC San Francisco Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center to offer patients improved access to medical experts, the latest therapies and enhanced care.
The affiliation will provide local access to clinical trials funded by the National Cancer Institute but will allow patients to participate while being treated closer to home.
