Sacred Heart Hospital in Florida Opens New Cancer Center

Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast in Miramar Beach, Fla., has opened its new Sacred Heart Cancer Center in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., according to a Walton Sun report.

The center, which more than doubles the existing office space on the SHHEC campus, includes 14 chemotherapy infusion bays, one private chemotherapy infusion bed, six patient exam rooms and an infusion pharmacy.

Sacred Heart Cancer Center also has locations in Pensacola, Fla., Milton, Fla., and Opp, Ala. The center is affiliated with MD Anderson Physicians Network in Houston, which gives patients access to the clinical care guidelines and quality initiatives developed at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, according to the report.
